Absolutely stunning much sought after vintage clutch bag from an era when sophistication and glamor was everything.
Leather snakeskin pattern .Black in colour with a paneled feature design to the front. The back of the bag is
plain black coloured leather.
The delicate gold coloured metal frame is beautifully turned.
The label on the inside of the bag top maker "Ackery London" made in England

There is one full length centre zipped pocket, also 2 open pockets,one on either side of the bag ,both trimmed along the edges with the black leather.See image below.Lining is black darker than image shows

This is a largish clutch as was the fashion then, we estimate this
to be from the 50's.
The fabulous clasp gives a satisfying "clunk" when
closed.The feature tortoiseshell roundels along the top of the bag,
which have the shoulder chain fittings on are a gorgeous feature, and
give this bag the "wow"factor.
This little beauty is vintage and unused .The front
snakeskin pattern is in perfect condition.
You rarely see craftsmanship and glamor like this today .This
bag is not lightweight, it is a lovely weighty bag.It will last a lifetime,unlike modern day fashion handbags.
Length is 12 inches long x 7 inches deep x 1.3/4 inches width.
